Hey my name is Jess. 26 years old. Loving and living life, trying to be the best person I can be. I am an Aquatic Exercise Instructor, living in the wonderful city of San Francisco. I am also a BRIDE TO BE! I have a wonderful, amazing, SEXY fiancee, who loves me exactly the way I am. I LOVE to travel, shop, hike, swim,.... all that good stuff. I just don't want my weight to ever hold me back from doing (or feeling comfortable doing) anything anymore.

I've been battling with weight issues my whole life. I've been yo-yo dieting since I was 14, going up and down 20/30 or so lbs almost every year. And every time I would gain the weight back, I'd gain just a little more then the time before. Funny thing is, I love to work out. I love to be healthy. I am a swimmer. I am (was) and athlete. I am VERY knowledgable in exercise and sport science, holistic medicine, stress management, nutrition.... but do I always practice what I preach? That would be a No. I gotta get it together. I am young. I don't want to lose weight just for vanity's sake, but so I can be even more active and productive then I already am.

In 2012 I decided to get the lapband surgery done. I needed to stop the cycle I was putting myself through and commit. It's been a struggle for sure. No matter how much research you do, or how many people you talk to, nothing can prepare you for what your body/mind go through after bariatric surgery. I paid out of pocket for my lapband surgery, as well as my fills. It has actually made me realize exactly how bad my food addiction actually is. I am not giving up though. I am also struggling with a thyroid condition that I have had a very hard time getting under control.

    Hi, Jess as well :D

I fell in love with San Francisco when I was there last year, and I'm going back in July 2015! Hence the bridge in the background!

When is your wedding? Feel free to discuss all things wedding if you want! I love weddings!

Sorry it took me so long to reply to you. My spark emails seem to be getting lost somewhere!

At a girl! lol No reserves! We discussed that too. We discussed all the branches. My feeling was I want it to be over with as soon as possible. So even though the army is more dangerous than the reserves I felt like at least his commitment will be over 3 years instead of 6.
Good luck with your 15 lbs! emoticon

I can tell you love Sparkles emoticon
Time and patience is always the best remedy for out little furry children. Have you tried more shallow dishes for her food and water? (Or maybe hers are already?) Just an idea, but the vet or your local pet store (PetSmart is awesome if you have one in your area) can offer you more advice.
