    emoticon I'm also pre-diabetic (age 69) but I found an endocrinologist who put me on Metformin, a weekly shot of Bydureon, Acarbose with meals, Progesterone, and Armour Thyroid and I was able to drop 40# with 20# to go. My blood sugar had been 115 and it is 100 now. Find a doctor who can help.
