    I really know how u feel. I loss wieght and I gain its a never ending battle. I just moved to Rhode Island and my husband is in the navy here. Where do you live in Rhode Island? I live in Jamestown. I am looking for someone to start walking with let me know if you are interested.

    I’ve belonged to a lot of teams here on spark-- i really do believe that the Emotional Eaters team is one of the very best, it’s a great group of people- very supportive and encouraging-- and it is very refreshing to talk with people who "get" what you're going through!!

    Check out the main page of the EE team- there are “stickied” topics you may be interested in to get involved- a buddy thread, a place to introduce yourself, weigh-in challenge, a birthday post.

    Spark has a lot of great tools, and you will learn which ones work best for you. The best tools are the people tho, always willing to lend a hand, an ear, or a shoulder. I’ve been here for over a year now, and I still am overwhelmed, every day, by the kindness and goodness of others on this team!! That has made a world of difference for me.     Oh I have done it all before as well - losing 20lbs and then gaining it back double quick!! What has worked for me is basically not ever giving up - no matter what!! For instance this past week I have had two massive calorie eating days and gained 2lbs according to my scales - but I'm not letting this stop me. I will have bad days still, but now they don't mean that I quit and eat terribly forever, they simply mean I had a bad day or week - but I make sure my next day or week is better! Coming on this site really helps and being involved in teams has helped to give me something to work towards!! My advice is to track your food - every day, every thing that goes in your mouth, even if its really bad!! Being honest and accountable to yourself is the most important thing!! What I think I show people is that they don't have to starve themselves or be on a really strict diet, but making healthier choices just 80% of the time pays off - you just need to keep it up!! Several times I have gone off course, but now i have spark and friends on here to keep me focused and on track!! Good luck in making those healthier choices in your life too - definitely let me know how you are getting on!!!
