I am re-starting my weight loss journey. I have been on many diets but have had no success. I guess that's because it wasn't something I could sustain for a lifetime. I will now no longer do anything unless I can do it for life. I plan to set the most amazing example for my daughter in regard to healthy body image, nutrition, fitness, relationship with God, etc. I know there will be days where I'm excited and nothing can stop me, but I also know there will be more days - especially starting out - that I really don't want to do anything. I will have to struggle with that and overcome it. I'm really looking forward to being the best, most wonderful possible version of myself - inside and out. I know a lot of my baggage will come from within due to my past, and I'll have to deal with that accordingly. But... this is the time... 2010 is my year for restoration. I'm embracing it. Who wants to join me?!

Fitness Minutes: 3,568

My Goals:
20-3o min activity 4-5 day a week

Drink more water, less diet soda

Limit eating out to twice a week

Stay within my calorie range

Lose 20 lbs at a time until I reach my goal weight


My Program:
I am getting 20-30 minutes of physical activity 4-5 days a week, or better

I drink 8 glasses of water daily, most days

I track/journal what I eat

Keep a positive attitude

My name is Jennifer, most friends call me Jen or J. I'm 26. I am the mom of a 7 month old little angel. She's super precious. I'm working full time, going to grad school full time, and teach part time at the church. Include my daughter in that, and it makes for one crazy busy schedule to try and incorporate a new, healthier lifestyle in. I owe this to her.

    Happy Easter! Lemme know how your week went I feel like we need a major catch-up session! As for me, I:

    -Looked at many apartments
    -Looked at wedding locations
    -Went camping (that was an experience, and it was only for a couple of hours lol)

    WOW! 57 pounds down and counting. I'm motivated even more. My weigh-in is Saturday morning and I'm looking for 5 more pounds lost. I'll get on the bike trail today and work even harder, thanks to the progress that you've made. Keep working, and many more happy weigh-ins.

    Oh no, you totally *should* be stoked about 50+ pounds gone! I was beyond thrilled to reach that point. Don't ever demean your accomplishments because they may not be as "great" as somebody else's.

    Luckily-- for my weight loss--my inability to find a job has given me loads of time to work out like crazy. I've also reworked my eating habits and really practiced breaking out of my comfort zones regarding food.
