I am re-starting my weight loss journey. I have been on many diets but have had no success. I guess that's because it wasn't something I could sustain for a lifetime. I will now no longer do anything unless I can do it for life. I plan to set the most amazing example for my daughter in regard to healthy body image, nutrition, fitness, relationship with God, etc. I know there will be days where I'm excited and nothing can stop me, but I also know there will be more days - especially starting out - that I really don't want to do anything. I will have to struggle with that and overcome it. I'm really looking forward to being the best, most wonderful possible version of myself - inside and out. I know a lot of my baggage will come from within due to my past, and I'll have to deal with that accordingly. But... this is the time... 2010 is my year for restoration. I'm embracing it. Who wants to join me?!

Fitness Minutes: 3,568

My Goals:
20-3o min activity 4-5 day a week

Drink more water, less diet soda

Limit eating out to twice a week

Stay within my calorie range

Lose 20 lbs at a time until I reach my goal weight


My Program:
I am getting 20-30 minutes of physical activity 4-5 days a week, or better

I drink 8 glasses of water daily, most days

I track/journal what I eat

Keep a positive attitude

My name is Jennifer, most friends call me Jen or J. I'm 26. I am the mom of a 7 month old little angel. She's super precious. I'm working full time, going to grad school full time, and teach part time at the church. Include my daughter in that, and it makes for one crazy busy schedule to try and incorporate a new, healthier lifestyle in. I owe this to her.

    Cardio shouldn't be too hard... doing canoeing and swimming and horseback riding and the sort. Should be good. I'm super excited. Thanks for the support :)

    You can make it through vacation. You just have to be stern with yourself and remember what you are working so very hard for. But still enjoy yourself while you are out there. I think it's very important to still live an active live even on vacation so make sure you can still get in your exercise, even if it's just cardio while you are away.

    Don't get overwhelmed with all the info you will see today.. RELAX grab a bottle water and READ as much as you can. It took me a good week or two get really get a grasp of things.. So take your time there is no rush.

    Do remember that, there will be days that you might fall down and thats ok, just get back up and dust your self off (BUT DONT STOP)
    Baby learned how to crawled before they walked, thats what we are doing on this diet...

    Nothing will get in your way, you are going to be a GREAT LOSER!

    YOU ARE NEVER ALONE on this diet there is always someone online..to help you out or just chat about something or even if you want to vent.

    Most important DRINK YOUR 8 CUPS of WATER....YOU CAN DO THIS I SEE YOU HEALTHY ALREADY
