6-3-12 Same old story but the ending WILL be different! I have gained 23 lbs since last summer (after working so hard to lose 50) and I know exactly where I went wrong. In a word TOMORROW. With the number of times I have said "I will start tomorrow" I could have lived til I'm 100. I start the day with this cop-out at the back of my mind. If things get too tough or I am confronted with food I don't want to resist I simply pull out TOMORROW :-( Pretty soon I am going to waste all of my TODAY's on a TOMORROW that may never come so I am eliminating it from my vocabulary. Will I mess up, for sure, but will I say "Ok, I'll start tomorrow"? No, I will get right back on TODAY. I will also get back to the basics...Tracking my food daily, staying within my calorie range and daily exercise. This is the recipe for success and nothing else works for me long term.

Thank you so much for the add. You're making great progress. Every now and then we slip but it's not about how many times we fall down, it's about how many times we can get back up. We're going to make great progress. Keep it up!

Thanks for the nice comments on my blog. I really appreciate it. It was hard to write this first one, since it's such an emotional topic. I'm thinking about the next one I'm going to post, and hope you enjoy it as well!

It's amazing how much sparkfriends have helped me through this cancer battle. I wasn't going to blog much about what I'm going through, because I like to keep it positive and upbeat but, reading through blogs of others that have gone through this and are doing well have really helped and inspired me. Hopefully, my upbeat spirit and fighting attitude will inspire someone else going through cancer treatment or whatever their personal struggle may be.
.(¯`´¯) Hope you have a sparktacular day :)
