My name is Jenni and I need to lose weight.

My husband and I were married May 26, 2012 and since then my life has been full of crazy change! We married, went on our honeymoon, I started a new business as a designer with Origami Owl, we bought a house, sold our old house, found out I was pregnant right in the middle of moving, and have finished out out this year of change by turning 30 in March and having my first child on June 5, 2013. It's not hard to see that I didn't have much time for myself over the last year! I actually didn't gain more than 5 pounds though, thanks to the 22 weeks of nausea that our precious son gave me :)

So! Now that Ethan is here and my husband and I are focusing on our family, it's time to take care of myself properly! I'm starting small, still haven't gotten into a routine with exercise yet, but the eating is improving and in the 2 weeks since I set my one year and 80 pound weight loss goal, I am already down 6 pounds!

My goals are simple:
Long term? Lose 80 pounds in one year.
Short term? Focus on losing 1-2 pounds per week.

*Increase vegetables in my diet

My Program:
I'm just starting to explore Spark, but I'm feeling positive about it so far! I've been jotting down notes, quotes, inspiration and motivation in a pocket sized notebook so that I can carry it with me at all times. I can easily pull it out and read a couple of pages to curb the unhealthy food cravings!

    I'm struggling more with motivation to exercise than anything. Granted there have been several times I've wanted to eat something bad or drink a soda, but I've been pretty good, thus far. I walk the same route every night, by myself, and I'm starting to get bored with it. I'm joining a gym soon so I am hoping that helps with my motivation!!
