It seems that since my 30th birthday I began to gain weight. I have tried to start diet programs a few times. I was successful with one, but when I went back to regular eating I gained it back. I have had health issues the past 9 years with periodontal disease and finally got that under control 2 years ago. I had a hysterectomy last year and am just now feeling normal after my surgery and my anemia is under control. I am ready to try to lose 30 or so pounds and have a healthier lifestyle. I am so busy with my career as a mortgage lender that it is hard to find time for myself, but my kids are grown and I CAN make time to take care of myself. I just have to tell myself that I can do this and it is important for my physical health as well as my mental health since I do have a very stressful job. I have a great life, two great children, a wonderful fiance' and 3 of the sweetest little dogs ever.... now if I can just get slim again!!!!!

My Goals:
To be healthier, exercise daily and wear a much smaller dress size!

My Program:
Eat under 1200 calories, 75 grams of carbs, and up to 80 grams of protein and exercise 30 minutes per day to meet my goal!

Personal Information:
I love my job even though it is stressful at times! I love my children, my fiance', and my dogs. I am learning to play golf. I love to cook on the grill. My favorite food is Mexican food, so that is going to have to be a "treat" during this process! Also, there is nothing better than a hot cup of coffee, or a frozen margarita!

    I make some mean Chicken Enchaladas. That's a good goal for you to have. Or, look at the Spark Recipes. You can probably find a low fat version.

    I'm 2 days into this and liking it so far! keeping track of everything definitely keeps you accountable! I'm in for a tough weekend though my sosn's graduatio is tomorrow and we are having a party sat and sun! UGH!! anyway I'm not really liking how the message boards work but was hoping to find a few people on the same weight loss quest. Stay strong
