    1. If you haven't already then setup your page, it gives everyone the chance to visit and leave you messages.
    2. Visit other peoples pages, and read their blogs! If you find them motivating, let SP know there is a button on the lower left hand side to tell them.
    3. Find a few teams to join. Feel free to stop by my page to view my teams some of them might interest you.
    4. Learn to forgive yourself. It takes time to form new habits.

    Hi Jessica and welcome back to Spark People where you will find lots of information and tons of support and encouragement from all our members. You will find that we also have fun along the way. Drink your 8-8oz glasses of water a day, watch your portion control and walk. Use your fitness and nutrition tracker daily. These tips will definitely help in lowering your numbers. Don't expect miracles right away...this is a lifestyle change not a diet. You will be much healthier in the long run. Post any concerns, comments or questions you may have and someone will respond quickly.
    Start each day with a positive thought just for that day. Reading and reflecting on an inspirational thought or message before you start your day can put you in a positive frame of mind.
    Your thoughts determine whether you have a good day or a bad day. Fill your mind with positive ideas, suggestions, and thoughts. You will find it will change your attitude and changing your attitude can change your life.
    Sometimes just reading an inspirational quote or a short paragraph helps one see the positive in a situation. Sometimes as your day progresses you just need to take a breakā€¦Take a mental break and read or think about a message of inspiration.
    Never underestimate your power to change and improve! You are a good person, with wonderful qualities, and you can reach your goals!

    Warm Welcomes to sparkpeople. This is absolutely the utmost in a weightloss site that anyone can find.
    I've been with SP for 6 months, and have personally lost 40+ lbs so far. I am in a wheelchair, but exercise from my bed, or in the bath, in a pool, or on my second-hand stationary bike.
    If you come to stop by my sparkpage, you will notice a link called "OVERCOMING OBSTACLES".. I created the forum , & it's now very active with nearly 500 members, and growing..(and recently deligated the team leader position to my husband, "slap*o*jack*s because I work full time from home..)
