Thanks for dropping by and commenting on my blog. You are probably right about the possibility of suing. Even though I think there's some sort of clause when we sign membership papers (saying we are exercising at our own risk), it wouldn't have been hard to prove negligence in this case. I spiraled into such a depression that I just didn't want to rehash it. Had to let it go, for my mental health. Appreciate your 2 cents, though (was worth more than that to me). Hi! Thanks for stopping by my picture. Actually, I had some pretty new shoes for that race which had a few hills and was barefoot running because i had lost a couple of toenails by mile 7. It was not a pretty site but the shoes had to go.
Later, I did buy some Vibrams and did a few half's in them. my best advice is to start small when you start to barefoot run because the muscles in your feet will be sore for a while! :) Good luck! 1843 days ago
