Well, here I am again ready to reach the goals I've set for myself. I joined SP in June of 2008, a few months before my eldest daughter's wedding. I had convinced myself that Brenda's wedding wasn't my main motivation for getting in shape, but I guess it was being that having lost 11 pounds by then, I eventually drifted away from my weight loss goals.

But, that was then and this is now! I am mentally prepared once again to make a lifestyle change and prayerfully, I will do just that! Looking forward to the journey, it's ups and downs and all that comes with it as I know it will make me a better person in the end.

My Goals:
To stay focused and not get discouraged.

To not take to heart, the scale's numbers as I know this is not entirely the whole picture (as long as I know I'm doing what I need to).

To find ways to stay motivated and to fight through the times when I "just want to stay home" from the gym.

I am an overcomer through Christ who gives me strength.

My Program:
Thus far, I workout at the gym 3-4 times per week. I do cardio on each of these days (30 - 45 minutes) and I strength train as well, alternating days between upper body/lower body. I also track my food in-take on a daily basis and try to stay within ranges provided.

Personal Information:
I am a wife, mother, and grandmother and I enjoy my life.

I feel truly blessed to have such a wonderful, loving family and I thank God for them everyday.

Other Information:
My grandchildren call me Lovie and everyone thinks they are our kids when we're out with them. Jaylen was my first grandchild, hence the name "Jayslovie." I guess I'll have to revise someday. :) I love spending time with my family. I also enjoy singing, bowling, and relaxing when I can with a good movie or family outing.
