Monthly Progress Reports

~~December 2008:
This month I am down a total of 5 lbs. That's great! However this month as whole has not brought with it a lot of consistency of effort on my part. Looking forward to January, consistency will be the buzz word. I hope to apply it to all my efforts. In January, my goal is for the scale to tell me that I'm the "fairest of them all" by weighing me in at 178 lbs. That is 10 pounds from my current weight of 188, twice as much as what I lost this month, however I believe that the added consistency to my regime will put me at my monthly goal. 45 more pounds to go by May 31st, 2009. Lets get to it!

~~through April 15, 2009:
I'm learning not to make declarations. Ok, so January was the month that everthing fell apart...literally. Now its mid-April and I'm just getting motivated enough to suit up for the whole fat loss war. Goodness, its so natural to make declaration but to prevent myself from making a liar of myself I'll say that "I can!" There. Now its completely up to me to handle the "I will" part. Until next time...

My Goals:
My goal is to loose 50 pounds by May 31, 2009. I'm starting on Thanksgiving Day 2008.

My Program:
I am going to eliminate carbs for the first two weeks and then slowly and minimally reimtroduce rice and potatoes back into my diet. I bought an aerobic stepper and a video and have a few resistence bands and free weights. I'll exercise 4-5 days/week.

My name is Janeen (as my username suggests), I'm 30 yrs old and would love to chat with others who share the same weight loss goal.

Other Information:
So yeah, I'm a little nervous about posting such revealing photos of myself out here but why hide? I do enough of that. I'm ready to expose it and deal with it. So if you know me...send me a message of encouragement after you pick your jaw up off the floor :-)
