My goals are to maintain my weight and my activity level. I never want to go back to being as unhealthy as I was!
I quit smoking in July of 2007 and felt so good that I wanted to get healthy. I've lost 63 pounds, a lot of it after joining SparkPeople.
I have 3 wonderful, all grown up children and 2 much loved cats. I moved from the Seattle area to Sedro-Woolley about 6 years ago. I love it and am very happy here.

My workout plan

Monday - 30 day shred
30 minutes treadmill

Tuesday - Banish Fat Boost Metabolism , Jillian Michaels

Wednesday - Jackie Warner One on One or Power Circuit
alternating weeks

Thursday - Cardio Kickbox, Jillian Michaels
30 minutes treadmill

Friday - No More Trouble Zones, Jillian Michaels

Saturday - 3 miles treadmill

Sunday - off

My Program:
Low calorie, healthy diet and working out six days a week. Currently, four days on the treadmill and two days doing a workout with weights.

Personal Information:
I live in the beautiful state of Washington in a small town called Sedro-Woolley. I love spending time with my kids, my sisters and being at home with my cats.

Other Information:
My hobbies are reading, crafts, working in my small yard, country decorating and the computer. I love animals (especially cats), horror books and movies, The Biggest Loser, Criminal Minds and Bravo TV!

    Any good exercise videos? Any good books? Time seems to just fly by ; must be getting older :-)

    My youngest left us for two months; off to the African continent. Quite the adventurer, doing volunteer work there.

    Hi Jamie, thank you so much for the nice thoughts. I'm trying to get a grip, but have been messed up for the last several months. Just found out that me and the hubby have diabetes. Trying to absorb everything without feeling too 'controlled by the world' and being all mad and stuff. Otherwise, looking very forward to our new grand baby girl who will be arriving in a few weeks. I can't wait for her to get here. : ) I hope you are well. Love your new pics and man, you are such an inspiration for all of us.

    Look who is talking, awesome progress , lady!!

    I love ST but often don't manage to take the time. Always have things to do with kids still around and working and trying to become fitter. I mostly walk but also try to go to exercise class 2x a week , which is helpful;. Lately been busy at work too so been slacking a bit. I enjoy joining the groups but have not been a good group player since I am often not on but do love a few of the magazine's like Women's Health. I alos read my DH's mags such as Men's Health. I use his advice since he seems to need less sleep and can read more.

    He is on SP too. He got me started; he lost lots of weigh and is a major motivator encouraging me to be more healthy.

    Hope you are well. I certainly hear you about three day weekends, so hard to go back !! NO matter how much fun you have, you are tired when you go back. Maybe secretly we all wish we could retire:-)
