Hey!!!! How are you doing???? I feel so bad I just read about your illness. I am not as "connected" when down here (Georgia) - along with the fact I've been traveling so much. Thank goodness, that settles down as of yesterday and I can try to get back into some sort of routine.
Your marathon is this weekend? Hope you are feeling much better by now. Believe me, you will not be last and taking it easy is the best plan you can consider. I have had my share of injuries, but since switching to the Galloway Walk/Run method, they have subsided. I will never again try to run straight through. My times have suffered a little, but then again I'm getting older too. Time vs injury - no brainer. I honestly run low mileage each week. My norm now is 3-5 miles a couple times during the week then either a half or a long run on the weekend. It seems to be working. My focus now is to add in significant strength training. I started the Jamie Eason Live Fit program in December, but got derailed this month, so starting over again this week.
Take care and let me know how you are doing! 1460 days ago

And you've run quite a few fulls yourself! That is a total different beast from a half; I am very impressed. How did your run go today? 1475 days ago

Hey there and welcome back! Yes, I am still hanging around Spark, but mostly just logging my food here. I like it better than MFP, maybe I'm just used to it. And running....whoa yes, I am running. Thirty-seven half marathons in 2016 and currently registered for 23 in 2017. If you have time and want to read up on the hows and whys, here are a couple links (our blog and fundraising page, which gives a good background) https://solesistersrun4als.wordpress.com /about/ www.classy.org/20for20

A Garmin 310?!?!? I am jealous. Is that the Forerunner? It's a multisport watch right? (Or is there another one?) I want one! (I have a TomTom ... I wish I had held out for a Garmin.)
Running is going okay for me. I'm still a slower runner and have not really added too much distance. But I have added swimming and biking to the repertoire!
