    Make up your mind you paid for that gym membership and your family already knows you made the commitment so keep walking through those doors. Only the most dedicated keep going back to the gym it has to be an apointment you keep for yourself. Plan ahead have your workout clothes and shoes ready to go have a water and your play list on your phone take a towel and other basics in your gym bag already to go. You have to take out every excuse. You have to know that all those people are thinking the same stuff I have to do this to be healthy I have to do this to look how I want to look and feel good. Everyone is their to get better than they were or are. So they are in their own mind they have their schedule they do their routine and they move on they really aren't thinking of you beyond the immediate point of you crossing their path. When I go to walmart my mind goes into auto pilot and the same should go for you and the gym. You know where it is you know when its open you know you paid for it so don't let anything hold you back. Maybe you can find a gym partner in your area someone to give you that extra reason to go. Tell yourself this is a life style you are committing to a new routine drinking water to stay hydrated eating fresh foods and exercising at the gym just keep repeating that pattern until it is your normal day.
    At first it is awkward but no one is any better than you your not competing against anyone and no one is especially focused on you except the personal trainer and that is because it is their job. So don't over think it just get it done. Your stronger than you think.First give it a month that is the hardest then once you get that down you will feel stronger you will be even braver the gym and people won't be so intimidating. The first month is by far the hardest because you have to make yourself do it any ways day after day but your whole body appreciates it your brain will be able to problem solve and creative ideas will flow. Your mood will balance your sleep improve. Your blood pressure will drop in a good way. You will gain strength doing chores won't exhaust you. Stick with it six months and you will have nice muscles. Stick with it a year and you will have stronger bones and you will be hooked on a healthy life style. It's mental your body follows your mind. emoticon

    Are you interested in a Challenge?

    The Biggest Loser goes for 10 weeks. It consists of 10 teams participating in weekly Fitness and Nutrition challenges. The Spring challenge will be getting started the beginning of March. It consists of fitness and nutrition challenges that are often in a form of a game. If for some reason you cannot do a challenge then they are modified to meet your needs. Often we do the challenge in a game form, we have BINGO and TIC TAC TOE or seasonally themed. For Winter we had Help Santa Fill His Sleigh, Run Rudolf Run and Super Bowl. If you decide this might be for you you can leave your name on the waitlist for the Spring challenge.
