My name is Chris. I've done the yo yo dieting for years. I would lose weight but was unable to keep the weight off. When I turned 40 I realized that we are given only one body and abusing it will ultimately cost me in the long run. I want to live the next 40 years fit and healthy.

Initially when I started losing weight I didn't exercise and focused on just eating right. I eventually joined a gym and started walking on the treadmill. Then I gradually added strength training and the elliptical machine. Now I feel so much better when I workout and push myself. I walk every morning with my neighbors and take my dogs running. It's great to exercise outdoors.

I feel healthier now at 40 something than I did in my twenties. I'm so glad I made the commitment to lose the weight and keep it off.

I weigh myself every morning when I get up to keep me on track. I don't worry about a pound or two gain but anything after that I know I need to hit the gym or walk the dogs and cut back a few more calories.

My Goals:
I would like to lose 10 pounds and maintain the weight loss. I would like to add more strength training to my workout routine.

My husband and I are going to start P90X on 2/2/09!! My goal is to gain overall strength.

My Program:
I initially lost most of my weight by dieting using the principles from "Eat Right for Your Type." I liked it because it outlined exactly what to eat and not eat and I didn't have to track anything.

Now I enjoy eating healthy and working out. I love doing cardio but I need to add more strength training to my workout.

Personal Information:
I live in Las Vegas!! I'm married with three children. I'm 5' 9" and I'm 155 pounds.

Other Information:
I love riding my Harley! I have two Whippets that love to run.

    We just started week 7. We love it. We both are doing the lean program and hoping to start over when we are all done too. I see that you are really close to your goal weight.....CONGRATS. Have you seen a lot of weight loss yet? I am really trying to stay off the scale. Keep up the good work. emoticon

    Hi! So whats new? :) Are you see'ing changes?? lose any lbs ? I'm not looking forward to hitting the 120's, but I'm still losing weight. Is your husband still doing P90X with you?
