Woman in her early 40's, fat, seeks a younger, healthier, hopefully thinner body! Ok, I can't do anything about my age, but hopefully i can do something about getting healthier.

I suffer from a myriad of illnesses including fibroymalgia, arthritis and diabetes to name a few. The two worst being severe depression and Multiple Sclerosis.

This has been a difficult process, but one thing I can tell you all is that if this old woman can lose weight so can YOU! I have chronic muscle, nerve and joint pain 24/7. I exercise at least 45 minutes a day/5 days a week. My legs are weak and my balance is off so walking is extremely hard, but I do chair aerobics and eat healthier, drink water (at least I am trying to!) and guess what?? I actually lose weight! :)

So, believe in yourself! I know you can do it!!

My Goals:
To strengthen my legs, lose weight, get healthier, get off of insulin (almost there!) To travel & be able to do it comfortably :)

My biggest goal is to get my heart healthier so that I can start chemotherapy for my M.S.

My Program:
45 - 60 minutes of exercise 5 days a week. Including aerobics, resistance training, toning, weights and yoga.

I would like to add elliptical training too, but I am not sure I can do it with my bad balance problems. But I keep hoping! :)

Personal Information:
Married (almost 24 years), with an adult son and a little dawg! As you can tell by my name I am from Iowa and proud of it!

I used to work 3 jobs but am on disability. Now my job is getting healthy!!

Other Information:
Favorites: Mooovies, mooosic, board games, word games, video games. POGO, traveling.

    Boy do I know the feeling all too well....I too have MS and use steroids often, and it has put weight to my already big body....and with the challenge of working out with legs that don't want to work...but I have joined the YMCA and I do a lot of swimming and that seems to be working....Don't give up
