I'm Christie! I am 5 feet and 3 inches short and I am 19 years young. :) I have been overweight my whole life. I have tried many, many diets and ways of eating and the only one that has ever worked for me is Atkins. I don't eat no sugar, no bread, no pasta, no starchy vegetables, stuff like that. I do eat a lot of salads and low carb vegetables. I have got down to almost half of my weight loss goal!! Oh yeah, I exercise 3 times a week. I do Tae Bo Cardio and I love it!! I have learned that exercising may be boring or hard at first, but if you give it a chance, it becomes fun. Add me as a friend or leave me a comment if you want to know more. I wish you all the best of luck with all of your weight loss goals and with any of the other goals that you may have! :)

My Goals:
-240- Met!~June 14.
-230- Met!
-220- Met!
-210- Met! (but fell off wagon for a few weeks)
-200-
-190-
-180-
-170-
-160-
-150-

Other Goals:
-Work on my self-esteem.

-Have more confidence.

-Buy an outfit at JCPenney when I hit mid-way goal.

-Take body pictures and post.

My Program:
-Atkins, the only one that works for me...

-I usually eat 3 times per day not unless I get a little hungry in between meals then I will have a low carb snack.

-I mostly eat salads, and other vegetables. One thing I like the most about Atkins is if I want a steak or a hamburger, I can have it...I just can't have the bread...and no calorie counting either! :)

-I can eat fast food but when I do I usually get a side salad and throw out the carrots and I get some sort of meat to top it off.

-I drink plenty of water. I have always been the type to drink A LOT, so I get about 10 to 14 cups a day! No sodas for me.

-I DO NOT eat sugars, breads, pastas, or starchy vegetables.

-Most importantly, I have a wonderful husband that keeps me alive (basically) and going on the right path. My dog Tinkerbell also helps me with getting motivated and taking walks!

Personal Information:
-I stand 5 feet and 3 inches.

-I'm 19 years young.

-Known as Mrs. Ci~Ci.

-Got married to the love of my life and dreams on September 27, 2008!

That's about it for now.

Other Information:
-I'm very carb sensitive, that is why Atkins works best for me.

    Good Morning Diva!

We're starting a brand new week today with new team challenges already up for you to look at. Check those out on the team page and while you checking those out come on over to The Diva's Lounge and say "Hi!" to everyone there.

"Every day is a fresh beginning, Every morn is the world made new." (Sarah Chauncey Woolsey)

My Diva Two Cents: The beauty of a new week is that you can make it go either way for yourself good or bad. Each of of us get one to do whatever we want to with it. Make today a fresh start, free of what you did or didn't do before. Don't think about the past, but start right now making a fresh new start with positive healthy changes this week. Don't think of the whole picture, just work with this week and see what wonders happen to you.

Have a great week! Be Well!

    Happy Friday Diva!

Wishing a great weekend filled with some fun, sun and relaxation for you. Let's get ourselves ready for the coming week. I thought this quote would be fitting just for that.

"With the new day comes new strength and new thoughts." (Eleanor Roosevelt)

My Diva Two Cents: Okay we all fall down here and there, but if we dwell on the negative we'll never be able to move forward. So forget about what you did or didn't do in the past and take that first step today. The great thing about each day is you get a clean slate to make the right or wrong choices for yourself. Choose to do the right choices today. You're worth it and you can do it!

    Have a great weekend!

Happy 4th of July my Friend!

And I'm proud to be an American,
where at least I know I'm free.
And I won't forget the men who died,
who gave that right to me.
    (Lee Greenwood)

Enjoy your day with your friends and family! Happy Birthday America!

Happy Day Diva! Today is the first day of the new team challenge for July called, "Independent Diva". If you haven't joined in or checked it out it's on the main team page. This month we're all coming up with our own challenge to achieve. I'm here to give you the right send off for the challenge.

"Remember today, for it is the beginning of always. Today marks the start of a brave new future filled with all your dreams can hold. Think truly to the future and make those dreams come true." (Anonymous)

My Diva Two Cents: The quote is so true. This is the beginning of making all your dreams come true. Take the first step today with the challenge and commit to making the next 31 days the best yet on your weight loss journey. Make the commitment to yourself. Take that step into the unknown, trust in yourself that now is the time. You can do it!

Be Well Diva! Let's rock this challenge!

Hello there! I'm here to spread some motivation and cheer into your life today! We're getting close to the end of the month and then a new team challenge will be up. Of course I will send you the info when I post it for you to see.

"The big secret in life is that there is no big secret. Whatever your goal, you can get there if you're willing to work." (Oprah Winfrey)

My Diva Two Cents: Pace yourself! The weight didn't suddenly appear overnight and it won't go disappear that way either. You have to put in some time and loads and loads of effort to make it happen. We're always looking for easier ways, a magic pill or something to take the work out of things. It's not that simple. Take the time to get your goals for a month. Commit to yourself for one month at a time. Little by little with the hard work and goals you make for yourself the weight will come off. You just have to believe in yourself that it can be done and then it will.

    Be Well Diva!
