Hi I am Lyn. I am working toward becoming a healthier me. I was on Sparkpeople a couple of years ago and had some success so I am trying again. I have been working on losing weight since June without any success so I am hoping the tools here can help. I have a goal of 10,000 steps a day. I have been reaching that goal successfully. I need a knee replacement so many exercises are difficult and leave me in a great deal of pain. I am trying to find exercises that work. I am also trying to learn how to manage the pain so I can still do thing like golf.

My Goals:
My goal is to lose 70 pounds. I have no set time line to do this. I want to do it an a healthy way.

My Program:
I am logging all I eat and drink in each and every meal. I am not eating between meals. I am excercising at least 3 times a week for 30 minutes doing cardio work. Three other days of the week I am doing core and strength work.

Hi, My name is Lyn and I live in Vermont. I love where I live because I love the 4 seasons. I am a physical education teacher and I love to be active. I play ice hockey. I also love to geocache and get outdoors. I love to fish and camp. I coach 2 sports for girls in grades 6 - 8. busy. I have two furry friends at home, my cats smudge and widget.

Other Information:
I am a person who is very driven and motivated but weight has been an issue for a long time in my life. As I have aged it has crept up slightly each year. I need to stop the trend. I hope this site will keep me motivated to reach my goal of a new healthier and leaner me.
