My journey began at 200 lbs with a goal to lose a total of 70 lbs.

♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥
Initially I lost about 40 lbs. In Jan 2017, I injured my shoulder and foot in an accident leading to steroid injections, surgery and physical therapy. Recovery was slow; I regained a lot of weight and developed other health issues that further impacted my progress. In 2018, a check-up revealed that my BP and cholesterol were also dangerously high.

Determined not to live on meds, I decided to focus on lifestyle and dietary changes. Join me on my journey to health!

"People come, people go. They'll drift in and out of your life,
almost like characters in a favorite book. When you finally close the cover,
the characters have told their story and you start up again
with another book, complete with new characters and adventures.
Then you find yourself focusing on the new ones,
not the ones from the past."
(it's hard to believe, but it happens)

Keep tracking. Always logging your food, exercise and other goals may seem time-consuming, but it really does help you stay on track, notice patterns, and make changes so you can reach your goals for good!
