I am a single working mother of three wonderful kids. They are young, so keep me very busy. However, they don't keep me busy enough to keep my weight off!!

During February 2008 I was one of the three women being followed by WSIL abcNews. We tracked and worked together as a team at Gold's Gym. We were on the news at least once a week for the entire month. Since then, they have done a couple of follow ups. It was fun, and I enjoyed it! Pregnancy woes kept me from doing as much as I wanted, though.

I'm motivated now to get back on track...again!

My Goals:
I want to get back into pre-baby clothes!!

I also want to lower my sodium intake. I didn't realize how much sodium I put in my body each day until I started SP. Hopefully it will lower my blood pressure in the long run.

I want my family to get into good, healthy eating habits. If we splurge and eat a grease feast, I want our bodies to complain about it. That's how I'll know I've been doing my job as wife and mom.

My Program:
I'm following the fitness suggestions of SP. However, I'm kinda 'doin my own thang' for the food. I'm a pretty picky eater, and don't always have time or money to shop for the foods some website wants me to eat all day. ;-)

I love how SP calculates your daily intake of foods. It shows me what I've done to my body at the end of the day. It's really opened my eyes!

Personal Information:
I live in Southern Illinois. I've lived here for one year, and I love it.

I have been married to my husband for 10 years. We have three beautiful children.

I started an online mom's group. It's been a lot of fun, and a great way to meet others.

Other Information:
Church family and blood family are two of the most important things to me. I must keep in contact with family members, and I must be active in a church. Without either of them, I'm not a happy gal.

I love music, and I love hanging out with friends.

    Yeah, I'm giving it a go again! Where are you walking at? It's so cold right now, so I've just been taking the kids to Walmart and pushing them in the cart around the store for awhile. That's the only way I've been able to get any walking in so far.

    Hey girl! I've been keeping an eye on you through this and MySpace. Congratulations!

    Typically, you should have 10 calories per pound that you weigh. I would try to keep you calorie range between 1400 and 1800. However, do not go below 1200. That's too low. Just eat more calories the days you are more active and keep them towards the low end when you aren't.
