    Hi there, Hotmaash!! I use all the tools here at Sparkpeople and believe me, they worked for me!! Especially, I use the foodtracker and exercise tracker to keep me on task losing weight. Joining a challenge team is wonderful, especially one where weigh-ins really count and help your team =) I have a recumbent bicycle and a treadmill and I use them every day. I also love my fitness ball, exercise bands and free weights. My home gym sees me every morning, rain or shine, even for a light twenty minute workout on Sundays =) Hope this helps you see where I came from! Great success to you! Lisa

    hey! well, i go to the gym or go hiking at least 5 days a week. at the gym i use the elliptical machine (which if set on the 'random' setting can make you lose almost 500 calories in 30's amazing!) and i use the bike and the treadmill at an incline. at the end i just do a bunch of ab crunches and such. i don't do any strength training like people normally do because i build muslce really easily and i don't want to have more muscle than my boyfriend! haha. that would be weird. =) eating wise...i don't pay TOO much attention to it anymore. when i first started this program i used the calorie counter that they have on here to log in my food and to see how many calories i was eating everday. after a few weeks of logging in i was able to see what my days looked like and fixed my eating habits accordingly. i mean, after awhile you'll be able to see what works for you and what doesn't. portion control is most important! also, another little helpful hint to keep you from getting frustrated with the scale is only weigh yourself once a week. maybe twice if you can't stay away from it. haha. good luck and keep in touch!!! let me know if you ever need any more help or encouragement. =)

    what i've been doing to lose weight is really making a habit of staying w/i my recommended calorie range and exercising on a regular basis. i try to walk 1-1.5 miles 3 to 5 times a week, and i do strength-training 3 times a week, too. i know it's difficult when you have lil' ones, but i know you can find a way to make it work if u really want it to =). i got a jogging stroller so i could take my son w/me on my walks, and my strength-training routine comes from a dvd, so i'm able to do it at home while my son watches his own "sesame street" dvd in another room while in his crib. i used to wait until he fell asleep, but his sleeping pattern has changed, so i've had to use the "'sesame street' method" as of late ^_^". just know that it IS possible, and you CAN do it! just don't give up =). best of luck! =D

    Hi there! First of all, exercise, exercise, exercise. I know it`s easier said than done with such a small child but you can do it. I`ve lost 12 pounds b4 Spark people and now 2 pounds but it`s not the most important thing. Take measurements - I lost about 9 inches in my waist so I`m more than happy. You can do it too!!! I believe in you. Talk to me anytime you need it.
