So, here is my story... I was never the chunky kid. In fact, through school was always teased for being so skinny. I could eat as much as I wanted, and ws still very thin. But, well life changed and I got married and then started having babies. I gain a ton of weight when I am pregnant! Gained close to 80 lbs. with baby number one. I started out a bit close to underweight, but 80 was ridiculous! I lost around 40 of that and discovered I loved running. So, I decided I might like to run a marathon. Well, after I had worked up to around 10 miles, I was having baby #2. I didn't gain so much with that one, around 35 lbs. After losing that, I managed to lose around 15 more. I was in a bikini again! I started running again. I didn't have as much time to run with 2 little ones though, so I didn't start considering the marathon until the baby was around 4. Well, after we moved to a bigger house, and I worked up to running around 10 miles, I was pregnant again. This time, I has some issues with the pregnancy and gained 55 lbs. So, guess what I did. Lost 40 lbs. Started running. Got up to 10 miles, and yep...got pregnant. Well, now baby 4 is 3. I discovered Spark in Feb. of 2008, and here is what I have accomplished so far...

1. lost almost 20 pounds
2. made some great Spark friends.
3. Overcome some lingering depression
4. Started running again.-up to 13 miles
5. Discovered weight training.
6. I am learning to eat within my calorie range. (this is the hardest one. My whole life I could always eat as much I wanted)

My current plan is to stay within my calorie range of 1200-1550. I am lifting weights, and of course I am running.

I will get there eventually! I hate it when people say "You look good for having 4 kids." I don't feel that motherhood should be an excuse to have extra rolls in the middle. So, bye bye rolls! Hello abs!

Focus on one body area per day for some extra strength.

    Are you interested in a Challenge?

    The Biggest Loser goes for 10 weeks. It consists of 11 teams participating in weekly Fitness and Nutrition challenges. The Spring challenge will be getting started the beginning of March. It consists of fitness and nutrition challenges that are often in a form of a game. If for some reason you cannot do a challenge then they are modified to meet your needs. Often we do the challenge in a game form, we have BINGO and TIC TAC TOE or seasonally themed. For Winter we had Help Santa Fill His Sleigh, Run Rudolf Run and Super Bowl.     Thanks for your comment on my blog.

    The instrument she plays is also referred to as a baritone, all her music books call it a euphonium though not sure why. It looks like a very small tuba to me.

    I'm not exactly sure why. It's pink and it looks like a pig and they use it in the weenie parades that we have in town. Wouldn't you want to bank at a place that has a cool pink piggy bank bus?

    Thanks for your comment on my blog! If I don't make it out by Monday I will be waiting to hear my name on a loud speaker!! I just can't seem to get going again. I want to... but the mornings seem to have gotten so hard this week and we are so busy after work that I don't get my workouts in then either. I don't want to let you guys down either - so I'm going to do my best to get out for a run!
