I recently graduated from TCU in December and moved with my boyfriend to South Austin. I love Austin, and I would love to meet more people my age and even start working out with others.

I wanted to create my sparkpage so that other people couold see my fitness and food tracker and give me any advice.

When I went to college, I gained about 10 pounds from my high school years. ( Went from 130-140) I didn't work out, and ate bad and it just caught up with me.

Within the past year I started to work out, and found some workouts I love! Been a huge fan of Jari, and recently picked up the Abs diet 2 DVD along with Turbo Jam and Turbo Scuplt. I have lost 5 pounds, but really struggle getting enough calories in in the day! I eat almost all meals at home becuase I can't stand the thought of what goes into food while eating out. I wouldn't completly say I eat clean, but pretty darn close!

Sparkpeople has been such an amazing tool for me in order to keep up with my calories eaten and calories burned. My other new favorite thing is my Polar heart rate monitor! Love it!!

Thanks to all the sparkpeople out there who have been such a great inspiration and full of knowledge!


I have been on here since about June. I would still like to hit my goal weight of 115.

Starting Jan. 09, I'm trying to up my calories. I tend to "Freak" out when I reach 1200, and I know that I should be eating more considering I burn AT Least 3000 calories through exercise each week. My goal is to get about 1300 calories, I'm just afraid of gaining weight.
Throughout the next 5 months, I plan on eating an average about 1300-1400 calories and seeing what my body does for that.

My Program:
I do turbo scuplt, one of Jari's riped program, and Abs diet 2 strenghth 3X weekly.

Cardio incldues Turbo Jam, HIIT, Jilian 30 day Shred and also training for couch to 5k. Cardio is at least 4X weekly.

Started 30 Day Shred Sept 8th, goal is to do it 30 days straight
ACHEIVED!!

    Hi. I am in Waco, not Austin but I know there is a walking club in your area if you are interested in participating in walking events. I do similar walks every weekend.     Hi! I live in far NW Austin. The Susan G. Komen 5k (running in honor of my mother) is at the end of the year and realizing this, I will more than likely run in a couple 5ks beforehand. I just need to pick my first one. I will more than likely do one in late spring, one during the summer, and one during the fall...so I can experience running in various temperatures. Your bio sounds very similiar to me...gained 10 lbs. since high school and you're struggling to eat enough calories. That's so me.
