    hey thanks for commenting.... an average mile is about 2000 steps and burns 100 cal. so to lose 1 lb you aim for 10000 steps. I walk generally 5500 to 6000 steps first thing in the morning, and about 3000 at night, the rest of the day is accumulating. It works for me this way. I have arthritis, so I have to move or my joints swell and hurt, but at the same time I can't move too much because that causes just as many problems. Probably more info than you wanted..

    Now that you've been on Spark for a while how are you doing with your food plan? I'm so-so. While on vacation we stopped at restaurants that all said FAMILY in the ads but rarely did we find a full meal. No one gives you veggies any longer. It was sad.
