I only eat out onece a week, I feel like more than that and I am not sure what I am eating and how much sodium is in it. I just pack my meals and take stuff with me. I have been doing it almost 6 years now and it saves so much money and helps maintain a healthy weight. I grew up with parents who ate out all the time and it's kind of nice not doing that now. I love reading Michael Pollen books and one quote he said that stuck out to me. You can eat all the junk food you want, as long as u make it from scratch. Are you gonna make a donuts when u crave DD? It seems like a lot of what you need to do is break bad habits. Learn to replace with new habits and It's not gonna come overnight. But if u let it come slowly, it will become natural over time. Like you can eat a donut but that might mean u get 300 calories less somewhere else which could have felt like much more nutritionally dense calories.
