I've been working on diet and excercise for the past month and I've lost about four pounds. I know that I can do more if I am more strict with myself and not let myself give up like I usually do. It seems as if I don't see the results I want, I completely give up. I know that's not a good thing...so that's why I'm back here. I need to push myself!

My Goals:
I'm starting off small. I would like to lose 10% of my weight by August. My main goal is to be under 200 pounds in just over a year.

My Program:
I will be using SparkPeople to log my food and exercise.

I will excercise at least five times a week.

I will NOT eat fast food.

I will NOT be so hard on myself.


Personal Information:
I live in Northern Michigan with my husband and my cat, Gwen. I love music and my husband and I co-host a bi-weekly radio show on the local college station. We also enjoy movies, antique stores, and pretty much anything 60's/Mod/British.

Other Information:
I have perfectionist tendencies, so I tend to be REALLY hard on myself. So, dieting and excercise has always been extremly hard for me. I tend to feel that if I can't do something perfectly, I won't do it. If I don't see results, I get discouraged, think that I'm not doing things right and...give up. My main goal is to not give up. It's been a month and, at least according to the Wii, I've lost just about four pounds. Seeing the results of hard work is SO helpful. It makes me want to keep going. The challenge...how to keep going when things don't progress like I would like them to!
