I'm 24 years old, hairstylist, living a busy lifestyle and trying to find time to eat healthy. At 250lbs (08/2012) I'm the biggest I've ever been.

I've been on diets of all shapes and sizes, and lengths, and popularities.... and even though they work for a while, a lifestyle change is in order.

About a year and a half ago, I thought i was on the right track. Then i enrolled in cosmetology school. Any good hairstylist will tell you That was when they gain the most wait in their life, and i didn't want to believe it!

Well between working full time, going to school, full time, attempting to sleep AND pretend like i still had a social life; cooking and exercise went out the window.... not only did I gain back the 30lbs I lost, i packed on another 20!!!

As I sit here looking through the pictures of my graduation, and what SHOULD be the happiest day of my life so far(only because im not married yet) all I can see is how Round my face is :o\

Dont get me wrong. It WAS a happy day! Biggest accomplishment I've made so far and I'm doing something that I Love. But with this new chapter starting, I need to be happy with my body as well as my goals.

I'm hoping Spark People will help me make the difference.

My over all goal is to get to a healthy weight for my height, which would be a little over 100lbs lost. My first longish term goal is to lose 25lbs by New Years.

I'm starting by tracking my calories with a range of 1250-1600. As I start to lose the weight, I'll shorten the gap. And I plan the join the gym a couple blocks from my house with my sister

    I checked out your profile and we have quite a bit in common. What you said about your graduation pictures is how I feel about my wedding pictures. I have been married for 3 years now and I still have a hard time looking at them because I feel like I look aweful in most of them.
