ALL Things Are Possible!
I use sparkpeople everyday as a tool to help me stay motivated to continue to lose weight. I first used SP to help me in my 2009 New Years Resolution--to exercise everyday in 2009. I did it! 365 consecutive days of exercise completed in 2009! Now I'm going for a second time around, but this time in 2016. I can do all things in Christ who gives me strength! http://365exercise.blogspot.com/ I've got a waah story, as we all do here, but it's not important anymore. The past is the past, and I put way too much energy into being miserable and fat. The minute I decided to own the past and take charge (get out of denial), is the day that I started moving forward and never looked back. It's funny how something that sounds so simple, was just so hard to do. If I can do it, so can you!

My Program:
I exercise daily (yes, every single day) and try to watch my food intake like a hawk!
I have learned that the key to my success is making each day count and not looking and/or obsessing over the bigger picture...but the now picture.
I strive for tiny goals each day that help in the bigger picture like getting outside (being outside leads to something active for me), charting everything that goes into my mouth, 8-10 glasses of water, 25-35g of fiber a day, 60g of protein a day etc. Tiny goals that turn mole holes into mountains! Little goals add up into something huge, let me tell you!
This is life and it is NOT a dress rehearsal! Make it count one decision at a time! If you mess up, don't throw in the towel for the day. Just start over at the next meal/goal! You can do this! You are a star!
Personal Information:
I am Christian, a wifey and a mommy...but mostly I am just a big fat hairy nerd!
The largest I have ever been was 240. I stopped weighing myself after my son was born in Jan of 2007 because it was just depressing to see. I recently unearthed a photo from 2008 (my son's first haircut in my pictures section) and I don't look any smaller there, than I did when my son was born. Wow.
Other Information:
Consider now, for the Lord has chosen you to build a temple as a sanctuary. BE STRONG AND DO THE WORK. (1 Chronicles 28:10)
We can do ALL things in Christ who strengthens us! (Phil 4:13).
The first quote/scripture is what inspired me to do this and be consistent.
The second is my favorite quote/scripture and it keeps me going strong to accomplish the first! How awesome is it knowing that God gives us the strength to do what we gotta do?!? WOW and Amen to that!
