Health is Heavenly
They say "if you have your health, you have everything". Well, I know there is truth to that because I know what it's like not to have it and that is not fun.I hope by joining this I can have support from others that know what I am dealing with. Here's to healthier living & choices. There has to be help for the disabled when it comes to diets & exercises tailored to their abilities.Positive thinking! What the mind perceives and one believes then you can ACHIEVE !

My Goals:
Eating healthier for the rest of my life.Always being aware of my food choices.Losing all this extra weight I have carried around for too many years now and get to a healthier, slimmer, better me.
Trying to do chair exercises at least 3 times a week
Always stay positive
My Program:
Just reading labels and being aware of the calories and nutrients. Then knowing my BMR I then take in 500 less calories a day from that and this helps me plan on at least losing a pound of fat a week.If I am lucky enough to burn extra calories that is a plus but being disabled is a minor setback.I plan on chair exercises at least 3 times a week and drinking my daily 8 glasses of water a day. Also staying positive.
Personal Information:
I'm a 57 year old disabled RN who now is very limited in my mobility so can't exercise and the weight has piled on.I live in lower Alabama right now but one day will move back to my beloved Mesa Arizona. My 2 grown sons live with me right now and help take care of me.My youngest son is on this journey with me to lose weight.Wish us luck.
Other Information:
I love mystery books and romance and adventure.Music I love most kinds, especially classic rock, oldies, classical, and even country.I love dogs.We have a beautiful fluffy little guy named Horatio.I miss my active life style prior to becoming disabled. Things change though and so I must go a different route now.To believe is to achieve.

for your support on my blog challenge. I did come down with a cold and sore throat, I am hoping that was part of the problem. I am resting this weekend and Monday is a new week, new beginning.
