Hi, my name is Heather. I am married and have a two year old son. I have struggled with my weight for as long as I can remember. I'm sure the story is familiar to some of you. I try a diet, lose some weight, but then 'fall off the wagon' so to speak and gain it all back plus some. I can't really say that I've tried 'it all' and 'it all' has failed: I can say that I had pretty much given up trying. I don't know what is different about this time, but I feel like this time I'm going to make it. Maybe I'm just finally ready. I posted on FaceBook, that I was starting a diet. Past experience has taught me that if I diet in secret I cheat ALOT in secret. I think in the past my attempts to diet were so secretive because I didn't want anyone to see me fail, and I didn't want to listen to a lot of 'helpful advice' or reminders - 'Are you sure you should be eating that?'. But something is different this time. I guess I'm doing this for me, not other people. They can say what they want. I don't give a rip. I guess I figured that being upfront about it this time would keep me accountable, and give me an open forum to share my successes. So far everything is going well.

My ultimate goal is to lose 100 lbs and become a beautiful, curvy 125. My short term goals are a little more modest. I just want to be able to go to Wal-mart, or any store for that matter, and be able to buy clothes in the regular section. No More Plus Size Section For Me!!!
