My name is Tori. I am a 23 year old returning to school to earn a degree in wildlife biology. Going back to school really changed my lifestyle and I gained back all the weight I had lost in the past few years. Spring semester 2015 I reached an all time heaviest weight and it was definitely a wake up call. My goal is to reach a healthy weight again by the time I graduate in December 2016. I would like to lose about 100 pounds in that time period.

My Goals:
Short Term:
-Complete the C25k program by the end of summer.
-Run a 5k this year.
-Get in shape for my backpacking trip in May.

Long Term:
To reach a healthy BMI by the time I graduate from college.

My Program:
I want to eat real food. I want to steer away from packaged, processed foods and eat more healthy, organic, homemade food. I think if i am more conscious of what goes into my food I will be more conscious of how much I eat. I also plan in addition to working out more often to start walking or riding my bike to class and to the store.

Personal Information:
I am Tori. I am a junior in college and am majoring in wildlife biology. I love hiking, kayaking, swimming, etc. and I want to be able to do the things I love without feeling sick.

    Hi Tori,
    I'm very sorry to hear about your Dad. Hopefully it's something that can be corrected over time? I'm also sorry to hear that you have to take time away from school, but by the same token, the best thing you can do is take care of your Dad.
    Don't give up on going back to school next year (or whenever) and just keep "slugging away" at the weight. It's so easy to gain weight if you're a stress eater like I am.

    I hope your school year is super!
    I'm not sure how I've managed to keep the same weight for MONTHS! But I'm not going to complain, because I've done a lot of stress-eating and that's why I'm so surprised. If I could get my life a little better under control, then I might actually be able to lose weight. SIGH!
