Hi...I'm Karen and I'm really tired of feeling uncomfortable with my body....I'm at an all time high weight and realize I'm more unahppy about my weight than I am about anything else in my life....I've got a sweet husband and stepdaughter, a lovely home, a very satisfying job and a world class dog....Despite all of these great things I spend alot of time feeling depressed about myself....It's time NOW to create a change...I've spent more time than I want to feeling badly about myself for being overweight...ACTION, ACTION, ACTION...NOW, NOW, NOW !!!!

My Goals:
I WANT TO BE FIT AND HAPPY!!!
I WANT TO LOSE WEIGHT IN A HEALTHY SUSTAINABLE WAY AND KEEEEEP IT OFF!
I WANT TO ACCEPT SUPPORT WHEN IT IS OFFERED! (i'm so much better at giving it than getting it) AND TO FEEL LIKE I DESERVE IT!


My Program:
Stay w/in my cal. range everyday.
Drink at least 10 glasses of water daily.
Cardio every day for AT LEAST 20 mins-aiming for 40 mins.
Bowflex work out 3x wkly.
Start to experiment w/ some new and healthy recipes so I can maintain healthy eating patterns when I REACH MY GOAL!!!



Personal Information:
I am a nurse and I live in Vermont in a BEAUTIFUL spot w/ my husband, stepdaughter (half time) and my fur-boy Ezra (one of the all time greatest dogs!)....


Other Information:
I LOVE to sing, play a little guitar, am a pretty good cook, like to garden, sew a little, LOVE to travel, have done a bit and hope to do more....would love to learn French and Italian!
