I want to look and feel healthier. I want to have energy. I want to feel stronger. I want to be fit.

In order to do this, I need to eat healthier. I know diets do not work for maintaining long term weight loss. I need to find and adopt a lifestyle plan that I can actually follow. It has not been easy so far but I know that I am learning as I go and with time it will not be so hard. Right now I am weighing serving sizes and learning what portions sizes are. I am tracking everything I eat. I am learning which foods are filling and which ones are a waste of calories. I can do this. I will be healthier.

It has been more difficult for me to implement a fitness routine. I hate cardio exercises but I don't mind strength training. Right now I am focusing on strength training so I have some sort of fitness program going. I am thinking of trying yoga. This area is definitely under construction right now.

I want to Sparkle. I want to Shine. It's Time.

My Goals:
I'm going to have Energy.

I'm going to be Stronger.

My first goal is to lose 16 pounds and keep them off by learning how to eat healthier.

My second goal is to add exercise to my life.



My Program:
Nutrition - Measure and record food and drinks. Stay below 1600 calories. One day a week I can splurge. Eat healthy the other six days of the week.

Exercise - Start off slow with strength training and try different things like yoga and walking. Otherwise, I won't do anything. By trying different types of exercise, I am bound to find something I like.
