I just completed something really difficult for me. After 20 years, I went back to school and renewed my teaching certificate. I didn't know my brain could still learn, take tests, and write papers! It is amazing what you can do when you just press forward and just do it.

Now that this goal is accomplished, I realized it can't be much different than completing my long standing goal to get healthy. If I plan on going back to teaching little ones, I need energy, strength, and a sharper mind. I need to do this!

So, here I am, again. Tired, achy, and heavy. Not for long!

My Program:
Lifestyle changes I have already made...
*Drink mostly water - order it in restaurants.
*Eat non-sweetened cereal WITHOUT sugar.
*Eat only whole foods when possible.
*Only mustard on sandwiches - no mayo.
*Eat five fruits/veggies a day.
*Walk when destination is within a mile.
*Memorized yoga routine so I can do it any time, anywhere.
*Had a running analysis done so I can make changes and protect my knees.

    I am trying and I think me and you are struggling with the same things, i love sugar and sugary snack and desserts.Also potoatoe chips.I switched to ritz crackers, and love them, then checked the calories and, found that 5 crackers is not enought for me..lol..I have been staying away from fast food as much as possible, if i want it i order the kids meal, or the lowest calorie sandwich and steal a couple of fries from the kids..when i do go out to eat , i;ve been stopping be those mexican food trucks and order usually 2-3 tacos, they are small but all protein so i find that they keep me full till the next meal time, i am trying to stay way from the bad foods, not even taste them because once i get that taste in my mouth, i want more and that can lead to a meal failure for me..Hang in thereGT2SMILE,Im sure with more support we all can get to our goals together, another thing i find is chewing sugarless gum with my favorite flavor it keeps my mouth busy and has that sweet taste.
