I am on a journey to reclaim my health and vitality. I have been a member for almost two years. In that time I have gained and lost the same few pound plus some. I am so tired of it! I didn't follow the program. Now I am ready to change my whole life. I want to be fit and vital in the second half of my life. I recently had the blessing of receiving a new knee. I can now move again. I can't wait to get out there and walk! This experience made me realize how precious it is to be self sufficient and to have the blessing of being able to move my body, I am excited to embark on this journey!

My Goals:
My ultimate goal is to live healthy, lose weight and to regain the excitement and vitality for life. I feel trapped in my body and I need to be free, I lost 200 pounds in 2001. I have gained back 100+. I can do this. I want to dance again!

My Program:
-fill out food trackers daily.
-Make food trackers public.
-Move my body everyday.
-Treat myself with loving kindness.
-Journal about my journey.
-Be active on this site everyday, to give and receive support.
-to work on emotional eating patterns with the tools on SparkPeople and "A course In Weight Loss".

Personal Information:
My name is Cathy. I am 54 years old. My birthday is December 31st. I am the mother of six children ages 21 to 31. I have two girls and four boys. I am married to my highschool sweetheart. I live in southeastern PA, grew up in western PA. I also lived in Tampa, FL for a time and I miss it.

Other Information:
I love yoga and self sufficient living. I garden and can and freeze food. I also am a lover of Greyhounds. I currently have an Italian Greyhound. I was blessed to receive him as a puppy from a family who couldn't keep him. Since I don't have grandchildren yet, he is my baby! I also love reading Wayne Dyer and many others.

    Thank you for reading & commenting on my sparkpage! Your Iggy is darling! I love seeing the Italian greyhounds and retired racers together. They do have a lot in common, though the little ones tend to be more active. :D
