Hi ๐Ÿ’–๐Ÿ’– my name is Nicole I'm 36 and I have been a member of SparkPeople for so long I can't tell you how long but I have used SparkPeople many times to get me on track and I've lost weight so many times but I always seem to fall off track I have been missing from the community for about a year maybe longer this time and I realized that last night while clothes shopping that I am bigger than ever and was going to have to wear a size bigger than ever so I decided not to buy any clothes and get home and get on my SparkPeople app and get started I'm happy to be back I really want to feel better and do better and I love it here SparkPeople is my home anyway I have goals that I set my first three fast break goals are no soda and walk 10 minutes a day and lastly to be more active in the community I need to find me a buddy but I'm ready to get started tomorrow I think last night really woke me up and I'm really hoping that it will give me the drive I need to get started because once I start following my goals the rest will come in time. I wanted to post about my reason 4 getting healthy being my kiddos I have two amazing crazy sometimes annoying children and my hubby 14 + years that I need to stay healthy and strong for so I can be around a long time that's my motivation and I need to remember that๐Ÿ’–๐Ÿ’–๐Ÿ’–๐Ÿ’– Practice moderation in all things....     Hi! I 'friended' you because we have some common goals.
    I'm trying to walk more, too. (I've always hated walking, but discovered some great 'memory foam' shoes at Dunham's sports store and it is SOO MUCH EASIER to walk now.

    I also need to cut back on pop. I generally set NO POP streaks, like for so many days before my next doctor appointment. lol Right now I decided to skip pop during the week, have some on the weekend, and also on holidays.
    I notice that putting just a tiny bit of apple cider vinegar in my water, makes me desire sugary things less.

    I also took up swimming 3 years ago this coming October as a spark challenge. I swim at the YMCA which is only 6 blocks away, soooo no excuses for ME!
    I joined it's 100 Mile Swim Challenge two Junes ago. I am at 79 miles. Hoping to complete it before my doc appointment in September. ( I was HOPING to be done the FIRST year. lol OH well.)

    Hi. Stick with it. The confidence will come when you start feeling physically healthier. It did me. I feel depressed today because of a head cold. But I know that won't last and I will be back in business!
