I've used Spark before and I know that the community support and tracking WORKS. I just need to get my mind, body, and emotions on track.

I'm 21, work full-time, and currently working on my MBA. Along with work, I am focusing on balancing my social life, boyfriend, and getting ready for my best friend's wedding (May 14th).

Here are my New Year's Resolutions:

1) Achieve an A in my MBA courses
2) Demonstrate increased "Exceed Expectations" on my Quarterly Progress Reviews for work
3) Weigh 125 lbs by my best friend's wedding (May 14, 2011) - calls for 6.5 lbs/month weight loss - totally doable.
4) Sleep 7-8 hours weekday nights
5) Fuel my body right - track on Sparkpeople to ensure proper nutrient consumption. Aim between 1200 and 1550 calories per day
6) Exercise minimum 20 minutes each day (DOABLE)
7) Blog at least once a week on Spark.

My weight issue is starting to creep into other areas of my health (ex: high cholesterol). It is not even just a look issue but also a feeling issue. I can't keep up this yo-yo dieting, inconsistent lifestyle, all-or-nothing mentality. It's just not working for me. I've said I'd commit before and I know what it takes, and my lack of respect for my body and health is really getting to me.

I met with a nutritionist in September and I am using her strategies to help me along. No standing up while eating, putting my food on my plate, and tracking. I used to try to wing weight-loss without tracking, and it's very difficult.

20 mins minimum exercise per day.
Program: JM 30 Day Shred, JM 6 Week 6 Pack, elliptical, running, walking. I enjoy these activities and they have worked for me in the past.

It's time to face my feelings by blogging and journaling - not with cookie dough ice cream. I love the support here so feel free to message me, I'd love a good buddy on this journey. 26.5 lbs get ready to goooo!!
