Introduction Text I'm into my fifth year on Spark People and overall I've been successful in making lifestyle changes for the better. I've had some ups and downs on the scale, but I know without the support and accountability that I've found here I would have continued the gradual climb upwards. My goal is within sight now and it's a great place to be. I use Leslie Sansone's Walk at Home program for my workouts which has been my most effective tool in losing weight and getting fit. This time I'm really doing it. I'm doing it the smart way. It doesn't seem impossible anymore. I've tasted success and this is where I want to live!

Short term goal is to lose 10 pounds in six weeks.

Eating in moderation. WATP at 15-25 miles per week.

I've lived my whole life in the northwoods of WI. I have three kids aged 27, 25, and 22. I have 4 beautiful grandchildren.

I am a medical transcriptionist. My husband and I will celebrate our 29th WA in April 2013.
