Quitting is not an option!


My name is Nancy. I joined Sparkpeople over four years ago, then got sidetracked when my Mom got sick and passed away. I'm back and hopefully will not let myself get away from this lifestyle change. I am down 25 pounds from my heaviest weight and want to continue the weight loss. Sparkpeople is the tool I need to help me be accountable. The encouragement here is wonderful and helps keep me motivated.

My short-term goals are to get 10,000 steps each day. My longer-term goals are to lose the weight and train to run a 5K race.

My name is Nancy and I live in Missouri. I have four brothers, 11 nieces and nephews, and 4 greats. Unfortunately, the closest of them is over 2 hours from me. I have a little Yorkie named Max and we are very anxious to get outside to start walking.

 I enjoy reading and crocheting.
