Hi! My name is Sarah. I live the middle of nowhere! I am a mommy! He is 3 years old now...so he is a smiley, crazy, excited, walking/running, climbing up on everything possible, driving mommy crazy kind of kid...lol!

My husband and I have been together for 8 years now. But we have been married for almost a year now. Our wedding day was an amazing day that I will never forget! He has also joined this sight to help me and to lose weight. He's not very active in it but the thought was there...lol!

I am going to school now for a associate degree as a Medical Lab Technician at Baker college! I graduate June of 2012! It has definitely been hard, so all I have been doing is studying none stop. But one more year of suffering and then I will be done. It's worth it in the end for me and my family.

I joined this sight with my friend Cat in hopes of losing those extra pounds that keep us warm in the winter and too hot during the summer...lol! I've always been a little over weight my whole life. But after having Lance, my weight spiked to a whopping 178 pounds. The biggest I have ever been. I lost all of my weight but then slowly gained it all back. Its been a huge battle to stay motivated and to keep up the healthy activities. Life has been extremely stressful as of lately. But that's why I have you guys! We are all there for each other.

My Goals:
My goals are to of course lose weight. But with that comes the confidence that I've been striving for for a long time. I also want to feel good about myself. I want to be able to look at myself in the mirror and see the person that I feel I am instead of this fat blimp...lol!


My Program:
I am trying to eat healthy; like eating more veggies, giving up pop, portion control, etc. I am also exercising for about 45 min every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. I am also trying to be more positive about myself. Instead of thinking of all the bad things, I am trying to think of positive, good things.

    Hi Hon, I saw your post that you are an emotional eater and I wanted to tell you about the book "SHRINK YOURSELF" by ROGER GOULD, M.D. on stopping the cycle. He has an interview on YOUTUBE, and there is a SparkTeam here to talk about his book.

    He says we can lose weight, but unless we learn to manage stress, we will NEVER be able to keep the pounds off. I've found the book very helpful. emoticon
