I'm keeping what I wrote below as a reminder - it's been 7 years since I recommitted myself to this journey. I'm not sure what happened along the way but kids getting old enough for school, and then going back to work full-time, and the last year has been especially crazy with a move for my family followed by a lay-off from the company that moved us. I have fallen way back to a worse position than where I was when I originally joined SparkPeople back in 2009. I need to do something, and am really working to get my motivation back - healthier eating, and regular exercise NEED to become habit because they're definitely not right now! Yesterday was my birthday... I'm 2 years out from 40 and I don't want this fat coming along with me into a new decade! I'm going to commit myself to doing better and moving and choosing health for myself and for my kids! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Hell
o 2010! Welcome in all your cold January glory! I'm back on this wagon again! This time, I'm not letting myself get 'sucked in' by the burning need to read every email and get every sparkpoint possible each day! I think it lead to a bit of burn out. But I also got an iPhone last year - so I can more easily track my progress each day without having to sit at my computer each day! Here's to re-establishing goals for 2010, and making it on the 2nd half (plus a little) of this journey! 2010 Goals: Start 192 - 1/4/10 5% lost 182.4 - SparkGoodie [2/26/10 181.0 kinda skipped over this one! Last week I was at 184.6 ] 10% lost 172.8 - SparkGoodie [5/21/10 skipped over this one too - on 5/18 I was at 172.2!] 15% lost 163.2 - Some new spring clothes [ ] 20% lost 153.6 - SparkGoodie [ ] GOAL 25% lost 145 - Spa Day or Shopping [ ] ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ I'm doing this for me. I started here last year, but only lasted about a month. But I'm more determined than ever in 2009. I've been a Tastefully Simple Consultant for a little over 3 years now. My Goals:
I'm working to adopt a healthier lifestyle.

My Program:
I'm using SparkPeople to track what I eat, and trying to make healthier choices at home, and more educated choices when eating out. I'm also working out 5-6 days a week - 30 minutes at a minimum, alternating between straight cardio and calestenics type.

Personal Information:
I'm born, raised, in the suburbs of Chicago. Downers Grove, Woodridge, Bolingbrook. But moved with my family (husband, and 2 kids) to Peoria, IL in July 2016.

Other Information:
I'm a grad student, while pursuing a new full time career in Marketing Analytics.
