My Goals:
I started the spark at 169 and my goal is to reach 145 that is when I will be happy with what I weigh.I want to feel better also by eating right and get some energy I feel so tired because of the menapause thing!

My Program:
 I am trying to count calories and drink more water and get more excercise!I love this site this is a great motivational place!!


Personal Information:
A Spark People member for 4 years in May! I am almost 60 its time to get serious about this health issue!

Other Information:
 Live on 70+ acres and love gardening and growing all different plants,birds feeding/watching and my part time job at our County Museum!

    Hi there. I live in the high desert (Mojave Desert). It is completely different from Los Angeles area, where there are beaches. My first year here, back in '84, it snowed for 3 days straight, and got down to 2 degrees. That isn't the norm, but that is what can happen. Our hills and mountains get snow every year. When winter first hit this year we were down to 19 degrees, killed most of my plants. Then it warmed up, and the rest of winter has been warm. That isn't the norm either. Crazy weather for everyone. emoticon

    THank yo for welcoming me to the team.
    I know some of the other members from other threads.
    I am a humming bird enthusiast. I live in the Sacramento area in Central California. I have egrets that fly over the house to get to the park, I have humming birds, who visit daily, I like the titmice and the wood peckers. Every March I have about 100 robins stop by on their way north to eat the little fruit that grow on the tree in the back yard. Nice to meet you too.
