I live in Camp Hill Pa. Mother of 2 (twins) grandmother of 1. Busy work life and home life. Looking forward to this journey. Although I would like to lose weight, I am trying to get healthier first and whatever the scale ends up saying, I want to be able to accept it and accept my accomplishments. 7-29-15 Update: now the grandmother of 3. My life is blessed. Still fighting the weight battle. Coming back to Sparkpeople has increased my motivation.

Lose weight to look and feel better

I try to use the elliptical 5 times a week - I usually get in 3. Also using the meal tracker to help with calories.

I had a very up and down 2011. The first 8 months were spent planning our daughter's wedding. I went to the gym early in the morning as to not interfere with my time with my husband. three weeks before the wedding In August, my stepmom passed away and that threw me for a loop. I was busy taking care of her and my dad. We have since moved him from Virginia to Camp Hill Pa. to be close to my brothers and me. Now I have a new "normal" life and I am ready to spend some time on ME. I wish I wouln't have been away so long from Spark People - Just signing in again and reading the blogs has re-invigorated my determination to get this weight off.
