I am a very busy stay at home wife and mother of 3 teenagers. I have been Sparking since 2009. This year I decided to marry exercise with eating and have lost over 23 pounds since January. I am only 9 pounds away from my goal weight. I feel better than I have ever felt in my life. I have energy, stamina and endurance. I can even out run my kids. Pretty good for a 46 year old. I now have a passion to help others. I will be getting my personal training certification and am starting a health and fitness blog to share my journey and give tips and pointers that helped me. I am passionate about exercise and eating healthy and want to be an example for my children and others as I model a healthy lifestyle. Sparkpeople got me sparked now I feel like a fireworks display. Blossoming daily.

My Goals:
To lose 9 pounds by September 2014 to reach my goal.
Celebrate the little victories.
Maintain Health as a lifestyle
Become the best me possible
lower my cholesterol to under 150 -Done
lower my BMI to 25.0

My Program:
I am working out doing cardio 5 days a week.
Strength training using Body Pump HIIT and RIPPED 2-3 days a week
Working out with my trainer once a week

I also love doing Les Mills GRIT series
EATING CLEAN 85%of the time

Personal Information:
I currently reside in Houston, TX. I love to travel and read fitness, health books, blogs. I love gourmet cooking. This process has tested my creativity. Now that I have lost weight I love shopping!!

Other Information:
Nothing tastes as good as thin feels! And I am hungry for that aroma so lets do it!!

    Spinning is a lot of fun. I enjoyed it so much, I became an instructor. So, I can say with some authority that taking spinning three times a week along with everything else IS too much. If you want to spin, take it once a week.

    You have to get out of this mindset that doing more exercise will speed up your weight loss. It won't. Weight loss or weight gain really does depend on eating right and watching your portions.

    You can't outrun a bad diet with exercise. You really do have to do your best to modify your eating habits if you want to lose.
