Hi everyone, happy to be on this site. I would like to lose about 10 lbs. and also tone up and get fit. I have an 19 month old son so after him, the toned me went away. Glad to be here in a supportive environment

My Goals:
My goals are:
1) To lose 10 lbs.
2) Start working out AT LEAST 3 times a week!
3) Increase fluid intake (and no...not just iced coffee!)
4) Start taking a multivitamin
5) Journal and other things to relieve my stress

My Program:
First and foremost, I think about what I am about to eat before I take the bite. I am definitely an emotional eater and I am finding out exactly what my key triggers are. Once I know that, then I can ask myself why I want that certain food and if I am really that hungry. I want to tone up too. I had a baby 19 months ago and while I have lost all 55 lbs. I am not toned. I want to be in good physical health. Just because you are at a size that you want to be at does not mean that you are in shape and that is what I want. I want to be able to do 5K jogs and everything else. I need to treat my body better.

Personal Information:
I am originally from Georgia but have lived all over the country (my step father was a project manager on multiple job sites.) My son and I moved up to Maine 3 months ago. I am a single mom which can be very stressful at times. We left Atlanta, GA due to domestic violence in our home so we came to Maine so that I can give my son a chance at a good peaceful life. We were homeless living in DV shelters for over 3 months so that definitely did not help my eating. I either ate too much or too little.
We are starting to get our feet on the ground since we left all of our belongings at home. Its been tough...but we are doing okay.

Other Information:
I write poetry. I LOVE POLITICS! I am going back to finish my bachelors and get my degree in political science. I hope to go to law school after I finish up. I also enjoy all types of music. I love my hometown of Atlanta. So many great musicians came from there and there is lots of flavor in ATL.
