Welcome to my SparkPage!

I've been a member of SparkPeople since October 2006. I've had many fluctuations in my weight through the years. I've been maintaining a 25 pound weight loss for over a year, and credit small healthful changes with helping me maintain the loss.

I have a streak of over 1030 days of exercising a minimum of 10 minutes, which was inspired by SparkGuy and other members. I have a streak of nearly 1 year of meditating every day. I plan to keep these streaks going indefinitely.

My Goals:
My goal is to maintain my weight loss while adjusting my internal vision of myself to align with reality. My reasons for maintaining my loss are my family, my present life, and my future. I want to be a positive role model for my children and extended family members.

My Program:
I am currently running 3 days a week for 30 or more minutes and cross training (aerobics, walking, stationary bike) in between. On the days that I am most pressed for time I hula-hoop for my exercise. I almost always go for a walk during lunch at work.

After incurring a shoulder injury in August 2017, I've returned to strength training on a more regular basis to rebuild my upper body strength, but strength training is something I should focus more time and energy on.

Personal Information:
I am a mom, wife, teacher, and friend in NE Nevada.

Other Information:
In August 2017 I ran the Ruby Mountain Relay with coworkers. It was an achievement I will never forget.
