I'm back again
My new handle is FutureFit70 - I'm more debilitated now than I've ever been due to inactivity and illness. I haven't given up, though. I'm back at it again.
I became a Sparkler in '07 and have been on and off dedicated and then absent. I somehow keep gravitating back.

My Goals:
Making caring for myself a priority.
Getting my body into balance.
To gain strength (weightlifting)
To build endurance (walking on flat, then walking on inclines, then walking for, increasing distance)
To build my stamina (standing for periods of time, then walking without assistance, then stair-climbing)
To increase my flexibility (with yoga and dance)
To increase my balance (though yoga)
My Program:
I don't have a program yet.
I am working with a Healthy Living Coach to make incremental changes in my life.
Starting with SparkPeople again to track my activity, my progress, and to help me see what I need to change.
I plan to incorporate resistance training
increasingly beneficial eating,
PT and OT exercises I learned to increase my stamina
walking in increasing amounts
looking for other forms of cardio I can handle
have to treat my joints with kid gloves. hard. I'm not that patient.

Just turned 50
I am officially disabled, but still looking for some way to reverse this and prevail over my condition and injuries
