A while back I was on Spark People to lose weight for my wedding. It worked wonderfully. Thanks SparkPeople!

I tried to get back at it last Spring in the bootcamp, but was moving and renovating at the same time, so that didn't last.

Here I am, two year after being married and I've gained somewhere between 15-20 lbs. At my highest weight I felt sluggish, my clothes didn't fit, and I didn't feel like I was actually me. UGH!

As I lose this weight, I am beginning to feel more like myself, the girl who would go out and hike a mountain anyday. I am looking forward to my clothes fitting much better, and feeling more comfortable in my skin.

The method to all of this is following the New YOU Bootcamp. I'm also focusing on eating whole food, with a focus on its G.I. (glycemic index), as my blood sugar is very sensative and is often the thing that causes me to overeat, especially after a low.

SInce I've started eating more natural, whole, low sugar foods my body has felt AMAZING.

I've never been more SATISFIED with what I've eaten.
I've never felt so FULL as I do when I eat these foods - even when they are low in CALS!
I also have ENERGY like I haven't had in a while.

This is a lifestyle change. I feel way better than I did when I lost weight the first time with Spark People, as I'm eating different foods this time. I don't think I can ever go back.

I'm excited about thsi journey, especially as I live a lifestyle with not just low-cal foods, but keep-you-full foods.

* Back to wedding weight. I'm 5,4 and started at 138 lbs. I would like to be at least at 125 lbs.

- meeting cal requirements

-working out as per Bootcamp

-following the basic principles of Glycemic Index Diet

-drinking lots of water

-fruit, veggies, fruit, veggies, fruit
