    Hi Fran
We were up in Duluth for 2 days and went up to Grand Marais 3rd day! 4 amazing hikes! We needed to come home to get some rest!
We visited Jay Cooke state park, Park point in Duluth which is a trail that is hidden behind the airport on the peak of the city, Tettegouche state park and for the final hike, Cascade River state park. Not sure if you have been to any of them, but they were all absolutely amazing in their own unique way.
I hope things are going well there for you and your hubby. Be safe and have a lovely evening!

Thanks for stopping by my 7/29 blog. Children adjust quickly to situations, and I think it's better for them to be at a school that meets daily. Also, the classes are smaller (either 6 or 12) so that's good for them. My youngest one (going into 1st grade) needs all the help she can get. She can be a handful with stubbornness, and it was unfortunate that her kindergarten class was not "regular" after spring break. Hopefully she will be able to catch up to speed in August.

Thanks for your comment on my blog. So sorry you had to deal with the hurricane, must have been very scary! Especially when it's at night - I'd think it would be hard to relax and get some sleep.

I understand how difficult it is for people to be at home right now (except for people like us, that is), but really if everyone just worked together to do the right things maybe this darn virus would be able to be controlled. Our state is doing fairly well right now but I think that's why our Governor has made the masks mandatory while in public places. He's been good about staying in front of things, or at least it seems like it to me.

My husband also goes out for the inbetween essentials if we need them. He is NOT one of those people who enjoy being at home so he's happy to even run out to put gas in the car!

I think my neighbor has just been cooped up too long! Yes, she will be doing her own leaf raking this year. She has two grown boys and an adult grandson, I don't ever see them helping her!
